Established in 1945, Pied-Mont Dora Inc. is a family business situated in Ste-Anne-des-Plaines (lower Laurentian). Pied-Mont Dora Inc. at its beginnings was a seasonal business, following the harvest of vegetables that were processed. Small beans, corn on the cob, tomato juice, pickles and relish. By 1960, the Limoges family focused their production mainly on the jams. Ste-Anne-des-Plaines then was the "paradise of strawberries”.

The second generation continues the original tradition of quality, while increasing the capacity and flexibility of production and promoting continuous improvement. In the early 60s, Louis Limoges, the current president, was the first in Quebec to use liquid sugar. In addition, he was a pioneer in the manufacture of private label in Quebec. Today Pied-Mont Dora Inc. is the only private label manufacturer of chocolate hazelnut spread in Canada.

To meet up with the growing demand in both sectors of importance, food service and retail sales, several renovations, expansions and additional modern equipment to support the expansion of the company.

Presently, forty and more workers are to performance and the success of the enterprise and some with Pied-Mont Dora for over 25 years!
